“I’m always grateful and at a loss for words when someone refers to me as a talented artist. The truth is, I’m not talented. Decades of focus, repetitious drawing, and refusal to quit, is how I was able to achieve a career in illustration. And, if I’m being brutally honest a bit, I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. I wake up each day with a new adventure waiting for me to tackle it. Talking animals, cute monster, and mystery solving kids are just a few examples of the unpredictable scenarios I get to illustrate. I hope this journey continues for many, many more years.”
