Best known as a singer, music producer and online content creator, Sam Tsui’s fans have been delighted to learn he’s also an illustrator with a lifelong love of visual storytelling. With 3 million subscribers on Youtube, 1 million TikTok followers, and over a billion streams and views for his creative musical content, Sam (along with his husband Casey) penned his debut children’s book “Why Do We Sing?” In 2024, published by HarperCollins and featuring his colorful and dynamic illustrations.

Sam is now thrilled to turn toward illustration and continue to create expressive and imaginative work for more projects. As a new father himself (his daughter Elaia is at the heart of his picture book debut) he is passionate about the power of art to foster wonder, imagination and connection in children around the world.
